Psychotherapy | Earth-Based Practices | Daylong Retreats & Groups

Meredith Denton, LCSW, MPH

Wild + Sage Heart is an invitation and calls to all of us who long to be home, embracing our embodied wholeness and wellness. Weaving together Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy and Ecopsychology principles, Meredith offers a space of belonging and support, particularly for women, young adults, adolescents, helping professionals, and historically marginalized communities.

It is through the integration of psychotherapy and earth-based practices that we deepen the connection to ourselves, community and the more than human world. From a heart and body centered space, we establish the fertile ground to cultivate a home for our wild and sage hearts and awaken the medicine that already exists within and all around us.

Psychotherapy

Life is a full spectrum of beauty and challenges. At times, we can feel alone, separate, and forget how to access our innate goodness. During these moments, we have an opening to heal and transform our lives. Meredith offers individual psychotherapy to support you with embodying and reconnecting to your wholeness.

Earth-Based Practices

Through the many hurdles and obstacles of being human, the Earth holds steady and tends to the hearts of humans. As an Ecotherapist and Wilderness Guide, Meredith will support your connection with Earth’s innate wisdom and healing capacity through individual and collective practices, including Rites of Passage.

Retreats and Groups

When we experience challenges in life, we may feel alone and separate. Through the healing capacity of group practices and nature-based daylong retreats, we remember that we are not alone and re-connect. Meredith offers collective opportunities to slow down, pay attention, and tend to ourselves and the Earth.

TESTIMONIAL FROM RETREAT PARTICIPANT:

Thank you for the wonderful experience of being in nature with community. I loved the warm and inviting space created to connect with other helping professionals, and be in community in nature. It was nice to de-stress with others that get the heaviness the role can be with heartfelt shares.. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness with accommodations on the hike!
