fees & policies

Fees & Policies:

The regular fee for service is $190 per 50-minute psychotherapy and ecotherapy sessions and are subject to periodic increase. Fees are paid either before or at the time of service, unless previous arrangements are agreed upon. For wilderness day-longs and group practices, fees range and, at times, are offered as donation based.

Meredith values making therapy and guide work accessible. To better meet the needs of those for whom the standard fee presents a challenge, she offers some available slots at a sliding scale rate. To discuss this possibility, please contact Meredith.

Insurance:

Meredith currently does not accept insurance; however, she provides many of her clients with invoices for reimbursement of services. Meredith is happy to speak to you more about this option and recommends you speak to your insurance to determine if this is an option for you.

cancellation policy:

Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Our time together is both limited and  valuable. Please provide Meredith with at least 48 hours notice if you need to change or cancel your session. You are responsible for the full fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Numerous cancellations will initiate a conversation in which we may decide to terminate services until you are able to attend consistently.

good faith estimate notice:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

Please contact Meredith with any questions about rates.
